B&B guest check-in is from 5.00pm and we ask that you let us know an estimated time of arrival.
We aim to be flexible, so please advise us if you need to drop off your luggage or have an earlier check-in.
For check-ins before 3.00pm there is an early check-in charge of £20.00 per room.
Check-out time on your day of departure is 10.30am.
We are well placed at the start/end of the "Two Moors Way". It is possible to do the "coast to coast walk" by adding the "Erme-Plym Trail" to your route. By prior arrangement and subject to availability we offer a complimentary service to collect/drop you at the "Two Moors Stone, Harford or the Watermark in Ivybridge.
We can provide pre-booked packed lunches from a menu that includes meat, fish and vegetarian options. Please ask for details.
We can transport your luggage to/from Cadleigh Manor within 20 miles radius for £25.00 per journey. We would aim to deliver your luggage by 4pm at the agreed destination on the designated day. Whilst we shall take care in the handling of your luggage, please be advised that we cannot accept responsibility for damage or loss of the baggage or contents. This packhorse service is offered subject to availability and we would prefer if it were pre-booked.
For those walkers who wish to walk with their dogs, we are "dog-friendly". Dogs are not permitted in the house but are welcome to sleep in the conservatory attached to the rear of the house. We have a food and drink bowl for your dog and can provide a 'dog duvet' if necessary! There is a nominal charge of £5.00 per night for the use of the conservatory regardless of the number of dogs (we would suggest 3 to be the maximum number for their comfort!)
We have four car parking spaces on our drive way for use by guests, free of charge whilst resident with us. We have had no problems to date but guests are advised that cars parked on our property are left at the owner's risk.
We have some space on our land at the rear of the property where we are happy for our guests to leave their car whilst not in residence. This is subject to availability and needs to be pre-booked. Please be advised that this will be entirely at the owners’ risk and whilst care and attention will be taken we cannot accept responsibility for damage or theft. It will be necessary for us to retain the keys to gain access and this will signify permission for us to move the vehicle in the unlikely event that the need arises.
The parking charge for unattended cars is £5.00 per day to a maximum of £30.00 (Limit of 2 weeks parking).
For guests staying for 2 nights or more, unattended car parking is free. (Limit of 2 weeks parking).
We are located on the southern edge of Dartmoor in the beautiful South Hams district of Devon. The hamlet of Cadleigh is on the western edge of Ivybridge.
Getting to Cadleigh Manor is easy as we are only a mile from the A38 Devon Expressway.
By road from the east:
On the A38 drive past the first Ivybridge turning which is signed Park and Ride and Wrangaton and Ugborough. Drive past the second Ivybridge turn off. Whilst still on the A38 drive past Endsleigh Garden Centre on the left and past a small turning to the left. Take the next signposted junction off the A38 signposted Lee Mill. At the end of the slip road turn right passing under the A38. At the T junction turn right and after 30 yards (or metres) turn Ist left into Beech Road. We are exactly one mile up the hill from that junction. Continue up the hill past Tesco on the right, past the Lee Mill Industrial Esate on the right and into the countryside. Take the first turning right and immediately (after 10 yards) turn left into our driveway. There is ample parking.
By road from the west. From Plymouth travel along the A38 over the large Marsh Mills flyover. Continue past the Plympton exit (Deep Lane). Take the next exit signposted Lee Mill. Drive through the Village, past the Jet Garage on the right and take the next turning left. We are exactly one mile from that junction. Continue up the hill past Tesco on the right, past the Lee Mill Industrial Estate on the right and in to the countryside. Take the first turning right and immediately (after 10 yards) turn left into our driveway. There is ample parking.
By Public Transport.
By Bus. The X80 bus between Plymouth and Exeter stops in Lee Mill village.
By Train. Ivybridge has its own railway station. Trains travel from the mainline stations of Totnes, Exeter and Plymouth.
With prior arrangement, we could organise collection from Ivybridge Railway Station, the Watermark Tourist Information Centre in Ivybridge or Lee Mill bus stop.
